Working together as trained professionals to give families a better future

At the heart of Family Crosspoint are two highly experienced and dedicated directors. They are supported by a large team of trained therapists, care specialists and medical professionals. Together, they have the skills to help parents and children at the centre to build brighter futures for themselves.

Kerry Collier

Kerry Collier (MSc, PgDipPT, PgCEd,BSc (Hons), RNMH, RNA)
- Director and Registered Manager

With over 23 years of general and mental health nursing in both the NHS and the private sector, Kerry has vast experience of working in the care system.

Throughout her career, Kerry has witnessed how vulnerable mothers are often lacking support and burdened by all sorts of issues that have a negative effect on the health and wellbeing of themselves and their families.

Her significant experience in building strong bonds between parents and carers, their children, siblings and other family members is now helping families to move forward with their lives. Crosspoint provides a safe space in which she can use her skills to assist those in need, helping them to build a positive future.

Focus areas during career:

Acute general medical health; drugs and alcohol misuse; Integrated Family Support Services (including fostered and adopted children); Child and Adolescents Mental Health Services; elderly care.


Trained RNA (adult nurse); trained RNMH (mental health nurse); lecturer in Health and Social Care; trained parenting assessor (PAMs); trained Play Therapist; Master of Science (Play and Therapeutic Play).

Gareth Morgan

Gareth Morgan
- Director and Responsible Individual

Gareth has over 15 years of experience in the NHS, specialising in mental health and substance misuse. He has been involved in many projects during his career and has built a strong reputation for attention to detail while managing the implementation and delivery of changes in service.

Family Crosspoint is Gareth's current focus. He has been a part of it since its inception and is working to help it achieve its ultimate aim: a reduction in the number of children in the care system.
